Our Story
The Center of Hope International is a not-for-profit organization. The founders, Judith Cascio and Eugenia Hamezianou, started the outreach in 2018 after the surge of homeless adults and children begin to populate in the street of Athens. In a short time, with lots of hard work, The Center of Hope International opened its facility in the heart of Athens.
Nutritious meals are prepared at the Center by volunteers, packaged and then brought out to the streets of Athens and neighboring areas. In addition to providing meals; clothing, shoes, blankets, hygiene products and baby supplies are provided for those in need. Both Judith and Eugenia have years of experience reaching out to the homeless and families in need.
100% of all donations are for The Center of Hope International.

A Day To Remember at The Center Of Hope
In March we were blessed to have Twenty Two Pastors visit us from England, Scotland and the United States. The Center Of Hope was included as part of their tour to Greece to reenact the Steps of Paul which was hosted by Pastor Joseph Kanagaratnam. The day started with lunch and a beautiful fellowship! After their lunch the pastors and their spouses helped in preparing a delicious hot meal to be distributed to the homeless at the pier in Piraeus.
At the pier the Pastor’s handed out the meals and compassionately offered encouragement and hope to the people.

Announcing Our New Mission Center
Our new facility has six bedrooms and will accommodates 12 missionaries with two persons per room a continental breakfast is included during your stay.
The mission outreach can be self-managed or organized by The Center of Hope. In addition, optional tours are available on your off days and priced accordingly.
About The Founders
Judith
Judith’s fulfilment comes from helping people and has many years of experience working with the homeless and those in need both domestic and International.
While visiting Greece in the summer of 2018, Judith was burdened with the number of adults and children that were homeless. She felt compelled to create an outreach. Judith’s longtime friend and former business partner Eugenia Hamezianos also shared the same vision and together collaborated to start the Center of Hope International. Judith is a part-time retiree and can now focus more attention to help the less fortunate.
Judith’s fulfillment comes from helping people.
Eugenia
Eugenia has a big heart to help those in need, while living in America she worked with handicapped children and also gave her time to work with the homeless in New York and oversees.
Yearning to go back to her country, Eugenia returned to Greece in 2010 and presently lives in Athens. After returning to Athens, Eugenia saw a changed city. This broke Eugenia’s heart to see her beloved city Athens overwhelmed with need for the less fortunate. Once upon a time, Athens had no homeless people, but now has an increase of 20,000 adults and children living in the streets. Gina felt compelled to help the great need of the people in her country and together with her dear friend Judith Cascio started the Center of Hope International.
